The quarter-finals on 2nd January will be played cross-over in Toronto and Montreal. Host Canada will move to Toronto for its quarter-final game.

If Canada defeats the United States in the last preliminary-round game and ends up first in Group A, the Canadians would play the fourth-ranked team of Group B in Toronto (20:00), the other game in Toronto would be the winner of Group B against the fourth-ranked team of Group A (15:00). The quarter-finals in Montreal would be USA against the third-ranked team of Group B (13:00) and B2-A3 (17:00).

If Team USA wins the game against Canada and becomes first, Canada would play the third-ranked team of Group B (20:00) in Toronto, the other game at the venue would be B1-A4 (15:00). The pairings in Montreal would then be between the United States and the fourth-ranked team of Group B (17:00) and B2-A3 (13:00).

The semi-finals, medal games as well as the best-of-three relegation series between the last-ranked teams from each group will all be played in Toronto.
